For our customer’s convenience, we have bundled some services together to make most efficient use of your valuable time.  During a service call, depending on your circumstances, you can expect one of the following packages to be performed:

Nickel’s Basic – 30 minute appointment
This is our most basic service offered. It typically includes:

• Filter change and basic equipment cleaning
• Operations check of the Heat pump/AC unit through a super heat and subcool check. Completed using gauges and temperature sensors.
• System owner report of any problems or potential issues

Nickel Better –  1 – 2 hour appointment
This service is for systems 2 or more years old and/or for a system we did not originally install:

• Filter change and basic equipment cleaning
• Operations check of the Heat pump/AC unit through a super heat and subcool check. Completed using gauges and temperature sensors.
• Indoor coil will be cleaned with 1 can of evaporator coil cleaner and blow out of the condensate drain with the use of a gallo gun.
• Pressure check of the system before and after the cleaning of the coil to confirm better air flow.
• System owner report of any outstanding problems or potential issues

Nickel’s Best –  2 – 3 hour appointment or 4 – 5 hour appointment (system dependent)
This service is for systems 5 or more years old and/or excessively dirty systems.

• Operations check of the Heat pump/AC unit through a super heat and subcool check. Completed using gauges and temperature sensors.
• System filter will be changed.
• Indoor and outdoor coils will be cleaned with 1 can of designated coil cleaner and blow out condensate drain with the use of a gallo gun.
• If indoor coil is too dirty to be cleaned with just the use of chemicals, technician will pump down the systems charge into the condensing unit and cut the evaporator lines.
• We remove the outdoor coil and pressure wash it, adjusting any bent fins with a fin comb.
• If the condensing unit is too dirty to be cleaned with just the use of chemicals, technician will remove the exterior panels and pressure wash the coil.
• The system will then be braised back together with the addition of a liquid line dryer. The lines will then be vacuumed to under 500 microns, ensuring the absence of non-condensables in the system.
• Additional refrigerant may be added on start up to optimize performance.
• Pressure check of the system before and after the cleaning of the coil to confirm better air flow.
